MATCH PREDICTION

This game is being played in the neutral venue of Estadio do Zimpeto in Mozambique due to issues in Somalia. Rachid Lousteque’s Somalians have had a tough start to their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign and actually come into this one on the back of a defeat to Mozambique, which means they are now winless in 14 matches since December 2019. Botswana were also left frustrated the other day as Uganda edged past them by a goal to nil, meaning they have now failed to score in their last three matches and haven’t scored more than a solitary goal in a game in their last six. They are, though, the stronger of these two sides and on neutral territory, should edge out – albeit in fairly uninspiring fashion. A Botswana victory with fewer than four goals or even three goals would seem likely.
