MATCH PREDICTION
The United States have been magnificent in this competition so far with some impressive foundations being laid down by former Chelsea boss Emma Hayes. The USWNT are quickly becoming the favourites for gold in Paris with excellent performances against all three of Zambia, Germany and Australia in the group stages. Japan have also shown their high level of technical quality in this tournament, forcing world champions and world number one to come from behind to beat them but then seeing off both Brazil and Nigeria. Despite that, though, the form of Team USA makes them very difficult to back against.
