MATCH PREDICTION
Romania came into UEFA EURO 2024 on the back of back-to-back goalless draws against Bulgaria and Liechtenstein before producing one of the upsets of the tournament as they hammered Ukraine by three goals to nil in Munich. They managed to qualify as group winners on four points so will be frustrated that the third placed team that the are facing is the Netherlands. The Dutch, though, have been unconvincing, needing to come from behind against Poland and win, failing to take advantage of a Kylian Mbappe-less France and then losing to Austria. Romania will fancy their chances of being very difficult to break down and, whilst the Netherlands are favourites, it is expected to be a low-scoring affair.
