MATCH PREDICTION
This would be a worthy final. They have probably unarguably been the two best teams in this tournament but also the two most entertaining teams in the tournament, too. Germany, with a Player of the Tournament contender in Jamal Musiala, have restored faith throughout the country in the national team being able to win matches once again. Spain, with a Player of the Tournament contender in Nico Williams, are playing their usual possession-based style, albeit Croatia had more possession than them in their opening game which was the first time that had happened to Spain since the final of UEFA EURO 2008 when they faced Germany in Vienna, but with a more direct twist that does allow them to be more incisive in the final third. Despite that incision, though, there remains a concern about their profligacy in attack and weaknesses at the back, such as Unai Simon and the two centre-halves, so Germany, with their home advantage, may well come out on top in what should be an entertaining encounter.
